Producing Areas
Nezumi, Minami-osumi-cho, Kagoshima

”Kampachi, the fish that bears the name of ”top quality," is grown in the Nezume fishing grounds off the southern tip of the Okuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, off the coast of Minami-Okuma Town.
The Nezumi fishing grounds are located at the entrance and exit of Kinko Bay, where Sakurajima emits a plume of smoke. The Kuroshio Current flows northward from the Pacific Ocean, hitting Cape Sata at the southernmost tip of Kyushu, and is the first to enter the area. Known for its clean water quality, the deep waters and high water temperatures even in winter make it an ideal fishing ground for aquaculture.
Why it's delicious
High-performance fish farming supplements for healthy growth

In addition to the best aquaculture environment, we provide our own feed. In conventional aquaculture, it was believed that the amount of food fed was proportional to the weight of the fish, but we witnessed many times fish spitting out the food at the farm. When we mixed a high-energy fish food supplement with raw feed, the fish grew larger, healthier, and faster than ever before, even when the amount of feed was reduced.

The golden kanpachi is grown in an area blessed with a natural environment and fast tidal currents, which gives the fish a firm body, and is fed a standardized feed with good nutritional quality without the use of chemicals, which guarantees the quality of the fish.
In addition, by reducing excess feed, the fishing environment has been improved.

The Truth About Obama Style? Establishing a Unique Feeding Method
Outstanding DHA/EPA content
A study of the DHA and EPA content of the finest kanpachi showed that it is 4 times higher than that of natural kanpachi, 25 times higher than that of tuna, and 1.5 times higher than that of salmon.
DHA and EPA are highly unsaturated fatty acids and are said to be highly effective in activating the brain, thinning the blood, and decreasing neutral fat.
Recommendations

The finest kanpachi maintains the same plump and chewy texture, but the fatty meat is free of tastiness, and its umami and sweetness fills the mouth. In addition, the blood changes slowly and can be stored for 3 to 7 days.
It can be enjoyed simply as sashimi or shabu-shabu, or grilled with salt, teriyaki, or simmered in arabesque.
