The landlocked salmon, also known as the "queen of mountain streams," is renowned as a high-class fish, characterized by its beautifully streamlined shape and its distinctive "parmarks," or spots. It is also famous for its delicious taste, which grows in the clear, cold rock water of mountain streams. Because of their small numbers and lack of market availability, these fish are generally not sold in supermarkets or department stores.
